The Jenukal Gudda (Honey-stone Mountain) is around 2 and half hours journey from Devagiri Retreat and is the second highest mountain in Karnataka. The place is known as “Hodachalli” which is actually the ancestral home of Mr. Hodachalli Nagesh who owns and runs Devagiri Retreat.

The ancestral home of Mr. Nagesh at Hodachalli is now owned by Mr. Nagesh’s brother, Mr. Madan who also offers overnight stays with all the facilities as in Devagiri Retreat.

The place is very calm and lush green surrounded by thick jungle and coffee estates and is truly a great trekking place.

From the top of Jenukal Gudda on a clear day, one can see the coast of Arabian Sea in Mangalore.

2. Full blown dance parties with an optional deejay (Dance floor is “Rain-Dance” ready).
